Recent Events

Well I fully intended on posting earlier, but apparently I've turned into somewhat of a slacker. Soooo, here's an update ...

March 3rd we went to the Bad Religion concert at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Bad Religion was great but can I just say, I'm pretty much at the point where I'm done going to the Anaheim H.O.B. Seriously they ALWAYS WAY oversell the shows and it's ALWAYS hotter than a sauna in there. We still had a good time though, thanks to Bad Religion. They really know how to put on a good show. They played a lot of their older stuff and mixed in a few of the new.

Then on March 5 we went to see Bad Religion again at the House of Blues but on Sunset. It was pretty cool, they played mainly their older stuff again but none of the same songs as the previous show. The only songs that were the same were the few new ones. This show was such a better experience. Our friend Kevin has a membership to the Foundation Room and was able to put us on the list for it. It was great. We got to hang out a bit with Greg Hetson (the guitarist) and get autographs for a few other members of the band. We had such a better time then that of the Anaheim show. H.O.B. Sunset is much bigger and has different levels so they can totally get away with selling a ton of tickets and everyone can still see the show and the people that work there are way more kick back and much nicer. I love L.A.! The picture below is from the L.A. show. Then, on March 15th we started St.Patty's Day early, we went to the Roxy in L.A., and saw the Young Dubliners. This show was wonderful. The Young Dubs always put on a great show and the Roxy is always a great place to see a band.

St.Patty's Day. As usual, true to tradition we went to the Harp Inn in Costa Mesa. It's been a long-standing tradition for us to get to the Harp on St.Patty's Day when they open and leave when they close. It's always tons of fun!!
Last but definitely not least Easter. We went to my mom's house for Easter. It was just a small gathering this year, just the immediate fam. It was so much fun though, especially watching Riley hunt for Easter Eggs. This is her 2nd Easter but it's the 1st one where she can actually interact. And of course it was a blessing to have Chase celebrate his 1st Easter. One of his Great-Aunts gave him a stuffed Easter Bunny and we took some pictures of him next to it. You can't really tell in the picture below, but he really is super tiny compared to the bunny.
Welp, there's my update of what we've been up to.

We hope everyone had a wonderful St.Patty's Day and Easter!

~ Christi
