What I've been up to since October

Aside from completely getting hooked on facebook and neglecting my blog, here's what Dean and I have been up to...

10/10 My dad's Birthday. My mom, Cassie, Larry, Riley, Haley, Char, Chase, I went to Rose Hills. We sat up there with my dad and remembered the great and the ridiculous times we shared with him. Then all of us (except Riley, Haley and Chase) had a beer with him. Coors Light in a can, that's what he used to drink. My mom poured one over his grave and said Happy Birthday Larry.

10/12 was my 30th Birthday. My mom and Dean threw me a party at my mom's house, the invitation read to either dress 70's or dress the way you dressed in 1978. It was great, we had some dressed for disco, Dean wore a KISS shirt, one my sister's dressed as 5 year old and the other dressed 70's, and the best my mom and Adrienne's mom dressed as though they were pregnant. Since Halloween was right around the corner my brother-in-law Chris and I were able to find adult size sleepers with pacifiers and a bonnet. Here's a few pix from that night.

10/18 My future brother-in-law Larry's Birthday. We went out and had a lovely dinner at P.F. Changs in Anaheim. My sister Cassie baked him a cake and it was delicious. Larry got some great gifts - a Wii and a pack of Serenity adult diapers and some seat covers for his sand rail. We all had a great time.

10/26 McKella had a gymnastics meet. Dean and I are so proud of her. She did very well, in fact she scored high enough to go onto State Championships.

11/7 Jacko came over and broke the tile out of our kitchen, Dean and I helped as much as we could. Jacko said it's a one man job. I was soooo happy to finally get rid of the 70's tile that we had. A friend of ours had some of his buddies come over the next day to lay our tile.

11/13 For my birthday dean bought me tickets to see Wicked at the Pantages Theater in L.A. We went to L.A. had dinner at a restaurant name Bella Cucina, then went over to the theater. We had such a wonderful night.

11/15 In the midst of the Corona fire Dean and I drove out there to attend our friend Daryl's 40th Birthday Party. His wife Mindy threw a vegas party. It was lots of fun! I'm glad we didn't let the fires scare us from heading out there.

11/27 Dean and I hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. I LOVE hosting. It's soooo much fun. It was truly wonderful to have Dean's family and my family under one roof celebrating a holiday together.
