Okay so I can no longer drive and talk with my phone up to my ear anymore, but I can still put on my make-up, paint my finger nails and toe nails, eat, change my clothes, read a book, flip through a Crate and Barrel catalogue, take pictures, wrap a present and sign the card, apply lotion &/or sunblock, balance my checkbook and put my hair up while driving, right???

Don't forget about text messaging, opening the new gadgets you just got at Target (and using them, if there's something nearby to try them on), tickling the kid in the backseat to keep him awake, turning around to make funny faces at your kids, cross stitching, making shopping lists, sorting through all your unlabelled burned CDs to find the Death Cab one, and digging the nail scissors out of your purse to cut open the Baby Bel cheese bag so you can have some cheese. Oh, and also, YOU can't talk on your phone, but you can dial your mom's number and then hand the phone to your three-year-old and tell him what to tell her. That's not distracting AT ALL!
