Upcoming Wedding Bells

The last of my single girlfriends are getting hitched. Two friends in

one month, just one week apart from each other, another friend, Alyssa in September, and my sister in April of '09. Recently at one of the Bridal Showers we were asked to give advice to the Bride. Yikes! Advice? Okay so I've been married for almost 3 years, I do not think that qualifies me to be giving advice. Here's all I was able to come up with.

~ Remember to set time aside for your girlfriends, and do not be a pain when your hubby wants to set time aside for his guy friends. True, you and your husband will become incredibly close, best friends even, but there will always be certain things in a girls life that only her girlfriends will understand, and the same thing goes for the men too. ~

Darshelle's big day when she will become Mrs. Cory Lapworth is this coming Saturday, June 14th. I am so very excited for these two. They met 8 years ago when they were both working at Stater Bros. in LM. Now they've been dating for almost 7 years, Cory is now a cop and Darshelle is a teacher, and we've all been anxiously anticipating for them to tie the knot. Now it's right around the corner and I wish nothing but happiness for Cory and Darshelle, they truly deserve it! Congratulations you guys!!

Adrienne and Trent will be getting hitched on the following Saturday, June 21st. These two first met years ago at what used to be the Liquid Lounge in HB. What started off as a great friendship soon turned into more. Now after dating for 6 years their big day is also right around the corner. How exciting! I wish these two nothing but happiness as well and since Adrienne has a bit of Greek in her - Na Zisete! - (long life to you). Congratulations you two!!

It's very strange to think that we are all grown up and married. I would of sworn that it was just yesterday that we were all just a bunch of annoying kids. (Cheesy cliche coming) Time sure does fly when you're having fun!! =)
